Cancellation Policy

To schedule your notary appointment, you will need to make a deposit of $25 to reserve your preferred time slot. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service once it is completed. You can pay the deposit at the time of booking your service, and your appointment will be confirmed once we receive the deposit. Notification of Cancellation: Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment. Contact us at 804-980-7150 or notaryplus@precisebookkeepingplus.com. ​ No-Shows: A "no show" is when a signer misses a scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 24 hours notice. The appointment deposit is forfeited for the first occurrence of a no-show or less than 24 hour cancellation. We will send a reminder about the missed appointment and provide an opportunity to reschedule. Refund Eligibility: Please note that once notary services have been provided, they may not be eligible for a refund due to the nature of the service. This includes completed notarizations or any notary acts that have been executed and finalized. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for notary services that have not yet been rendered. ​ Refundable Circumstances: 1) Appointment Cancellation: You can cancel your appointment by providing a minimum of 24 hours notice. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will be eligible for a refund of any payment made in advance, except for the non-refundable deposit. ​ 2) Service Unavailability: In case we are unable to provide notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or any technical issue on our end, we will provide you with a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit. Refund Request: To request a refund, please send an email to notaryplus@precisebookkeepingplus.com within 3 days from the original payment date. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for the refund to appear in your account, as the timeframe may vary depending on your financial institution. We kindly ask for your patience while we process your refund.
